3月27日，真人秀《X Factor》冠军里昂娜·刘易斯（Leona Lewis）发行的第一支单曲《Bleeding Love》登上美国排行榜冠军位置，并因此成为20年来第一位获此殊荣的英国女歌手。此前的纪录由金·王尔德（Kim Wilde）书写，1987年她的《You Keep Me Hangin On》在告示牌金曲百佳榜上夺冠。
